भदावर विद्या मन्दिर संस्था का उदय मूर्धन्य शिक्षाविद, भाषाविद, एवं सर्वहारा वर्ग के समाजसेवी जन नायक स्वर्गीय श्री बनवारी लाल तिवारी (संस्थापक प्रधानाचार्य) के अथक प्रयासों से सन 1942 में हुआ है। सर्वप्रथम यह विद्यालय जूनियर हाईस्कूल के रूप में सन 1942 में रेलवे स्टेशन के कमरे में संचालित होता था ।
उस समय इस विद्यालय की छात्र संख्या 50 थी । छात्र संख्या बृद्धि होने पर आवश्यकता अनुरूप यह विद्यालय नगर सेठ स्व० श्री तोताराम दरवारीलाल जैन की जगह (पी ए सी कोठी) में संचालित हुआ । तदोपरान्त क्षेत्र के शैक्षिक विकास हेतु समाजसेवी एवम जमीदार स्व० श्री मगन लाल चौबे द्वारा जमीन दान दी गयी । स्व० श्री बनवारी लाल तिवारी ने गाँव गाँव जाकर चन्दा एकत्रित कर भदावर विद्या मन्दिर संस्था का भवन निर्माण कार्य कराया ।
लोगों ने भी भवन निर्माण कार्य (ज्ञान यज्ञ) में तन मन धन से अपनी सेवाएं (आहुति) दी । तिवारी जी के द्वारा रोपित यह पौधा (संस्था) आज विशाल वट वृक्ष का रूप ले चुका है ।
